Billy Bush, history's greatest monster, is officially leaving NBC

It hasn’t been the best day for America’s favorite new villain, Billy Bush, who both lost his job at NBC and was revealed as the true reason that Donald Trump made disgusting comments on that infamous 2005 video. Mondays, amirite?

First, the world learned from Melania Trump that Donald Trump only said all those horrible things he said because Billy, one of the most sinister and powerful people in world history, pushed him to. Donald would never have bragged about committing sexual assault if Billy hadn’t “egged him on,” Melania lamented.

Poor Donald! A good man sandbagged by a thick-thighed monster. The hashtag #BillyBushMadeMeDoItquickly sprang up, as people swapped stories of the evil that Billy Bush has perpetrated from behind the scenes. Was Billy Bush responsible for the sinking of the Titanic? The Trojan War? The assassination of Abraham Lincoln? Was the song “Sympathy for the Devil” really about Billy Bush? I’m going to say…definitely to all of the above.

As if that wasn’t enough, Billy was officially dumped from the “Today” show and NBC on Monday evening. He’s walking away with millions of dollars, but on the flip side, his career is in tatters and he’s become a symbol of everything wrong with heterosexual men in America, so, on balance, not great.
