Bae-in-chief and legitimate modern-day renaissance man Donald Glover and the team behind the FX hit Atlanta have taken home the Golden Globe for Best TV Series Musical or Comedy and man, does it feel good.

In his acceptance speech, Glover, backed by his costars and other members of the Atlanta crew thanked the inspiration for his show: black people in Atlanta.

“I really want to thank Atlanta and all the black folks in Atlanta. For real, like, just being alive and doing just amazing, and being amazing people. I couldn’t be here without Atlanta.”

He also thanked Migos not only for being on the show but for making “Bad and Boujee” which he described as the best song ever.  Of course, the DJ of the evening, Questlove played “Awaken, My Love,” off the latest album from Glover’s rap alter ego Childish Gambino in honor of the Atlanta win, so so will we.
