Every single second of the 'Pitch Perfect 2' trailer is awesome

What we didn’t know when Idina Menzel chose to sing the national anthem a cappella at last night’s Super Bowl XLIX was that she was warming us up for the sultry, hilarious, sexy harmonies from the Pitch Perfect 2 trailer during one of the final commercial breaks.

The trailer takes the Barden Bellas to the world championships, where Beca (Anna Kendrick) and Fat Amy (Rebel Wilson) shine by being both sexy and hilarious at the same time. Let’s break it down:

At some party or club where it is likely annoying and inappropriate, Beca burns another a cappella group with her rendition of Carrie Underwood’s break up jam, “Before He Cheats” and suddenly the whole group joins.

The ACTUAL Green Bay Packers (fresh from their loss in the playoffs presumably) form a sleeveless a cappella group that slays a music-free rendition of Destiny’s Child’s “Bootylicious” and Fat Amy says what we’re all thinking:

The trailer looks fantastic, and promising in a world where sequels are often garbage. We’re definitely going to be in attendance when this movie hits theaters May 15th.
