This Sunday, the seven gods will smile upon us all and HBO’s Game of Thrones will return. But Sunday is three whole days away.

So, just in time for the coming premiere, Paul Garrison Dean, for io9.com, made this trailer imagining Game of Thrones as an 80s sitcom. It’s complete with a 4:3 aspect ratio, laugh track and yellow font.

Just like most 80s sitcoms, there’s less death, naked ladies, wine, death, naked ladies, death, and naked ladies compared to Game of Thrones. But, it’s still amusing.
