We’re nearing the end of Barack Obama’s presidency, and as hard as it’s going to be to say goodbye—particularly because we’re saying hello to a gaggle of bigots—it’s probably going to be even harder to say goodbye to America’s ultimate power couple. Two people who forged a relationship full of love, mutual respect, understanding, and affection that has given us life for the past eight years. No, I’m not talking about Barack and the amazing FLOTUS Michelle though. I’m talking about Barack and Joe. Yes, the BFFs.

The two had yet another beautiful moment together on Tuesday night, during Obama’s farewell address.
