Mika Brzezinski Apologizes for Being Homophobic on Live Television

All was well on the air with our favorite Morning Joe newlyweds this morning, until Mika Brzezinksi’s critique of Mike Pompeo tipped headlong into homophobia. Weird how liberals keep doing stuff like this!

The Morning Joe co-host was talking about the secretary of state’s deeply disingenuous account of Jamal Khashoggi’s murder by the Saudis this morning on Fox News. It was so weak that even the sentient dolls that host Fox & Friends weren’t buying it. But then Brzezinski simply had to call Pompeo a “wannabe dictator’s butt boy.”

“I understand that Donald Trump doesn’t care…But why doesn’t Mike Pompeo care right now? Are the pathetic deflections that we just heard, when he appeared on Fox & Friends—is that a patriot speaking? Or a wannabe dictator’s butt boy? I’m dead serious. I’m asking: Are these the words of a patriot?” she said. You heard it here: She’s dead serious!

There was some delay in the taping, which outlets speculated were attempts to cut Brzezinski’s mic. After the morning show wrapped, she apologized for the remark.

It’s not Brzezinski’s first, uh, misstep, during a broadcast: She recently dared Kellyanne Conway to publicly tell her story about being sexually assaulted and somehow managed to scold the Democrats who were mailed pipe bombs. Maybe it’s time for a long honeymoon!
