'Pizza Rat Blvd' is no more, long live 'Pizza Rat Blvd'

Pizza Rat, the industrious rodent seen tryna catch a train while chowin’ down on some ‘za, is the hero New York City deserves. Fittingly, for a few brief, beautiful hours, a street was named after that little ball of walking filth.

The Good Morning America team spotted Instagram user fredbenenson‘s photo of the Pizza Rat Blvd. street sign Thursday, taken in the quaint Brooklyn neighborhood Greenpoint.

He captioned the image: “Finally, #PizzaRat gets the recognition he deserves with Pizza Rat Boulevard in Greenpoint” along with several relevant emojis.

A worker at the 3 Roots cafe told GMA that the sign was placed by a TV production crew shooting the second season of Netflix hit Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

Fare thee well, Pizza Rat Boulevard.
