Sorry UFO lovers, the light in the sky last night was just a Russian rocket breaking up

Latest

It happened again. An unscheduled blaze in the night sky gave hope to people that maybe we’re not alone on this galaxy. Sorry, but we’re still alone.

A mysterious bright light was seen streaking across the sky of the Southwestern U.S. last night, reportedly seen as far east as Las Vegas and as far west as Los Angeles.

Like the sky itself, social media lit up with videos, photos, and speculation about the fireball.

But unless you have very little imagination, your speculation was probably wrong, as the answer turned out to be boring as usual. A spokeswoman for the U.S. Strategic Command told The Associated Press that the fireball was just space debris burning up in the atmosphere. Specifically, it was an SL-4 booster rocket from a Russian rocket that launched Monday.

But that’s just what they want you to think. True believers refuse to accept such an obvious cover-up.

I live in Las Vegas and saw this last night that was no rocket I guarantee that’s bullshit https://t.co/3i2lygaX5x
