This actor killed the Golden Globes red carpet in platform heels

Lady Gaga might have been the only American Horror Story: Hotel cast member who went home with a Golden Globe last night—she won Best Actress in a Limited Series or TV Movie for her deeply disturbing portrayal of the Countess—but Denis O’Hare won the red carpet.

The actor who plays transwoman and Hotel Cortez employee Liz Taylor donned a pair of platform Christian Louboutin heels. They paired perfectly with his Billy Reid houndstooth blazer and bright red nails.

And though the heels might have been dauntingly high, O’Hare was definitely in control.

Much like Liz can pick a good earring, the man who portrays her can definitely pick a good shoe.
