The tweets were quickly deleted.

So who is this man who so bravely exposing ABC's plan?

You may recognize Shane Dawson from his role as Shanaynay, which is actually him in blackface. Shanaynay is a recurring character on Dawson's popular channel, appearing in short videos like "GHETTO GIRL MAKEUP TIPS!" and "GIRL POOPS PANTS WHILE TWERKING! - VIRAL INFECTION EP 1."

Dawson has long been accused of using racist humor, even going back to a 2009 Washington Post article. More recently, the excellent Franchesca Ramsay called him out in a video. But based on his massive following, the incident didn't do much damage to Dawson's popularity.
