A Canadian politician has released the craziest campaign ad of the season

Canada, concerned about the significant lead the United States has in the race for outlandish campaign materials, has unleashed Wyatt Scott. Behold:

Scott is an independent candidate running for parliament in the newly-created Mission-Matsqui-Fraser Canyon riding (that's an electoral district) in British Columbia. His video has been waiting desperately for online attention since mid-June, a full month and a half before a Canadian federal election was called on August 2.

In the video, Scott Rides a giant goose, wields a giant sword, and destroys a giant robot emblazoned with the logo of Canada's Conservative Party.

If you are shocked to learn there's a Canadian election happening, some news: there's a Canadian election happening! It'll take place on October 19, which gives candidates an unusually long time to campaign. And, apparently, make campaign videos.
