Adorable pets dressed as sharks are the best part of Shark Week

In case you didn’t know, we are right smack dab in the middle of Shark Week, the week-long television shark extravaganza that NPR claims people call the ocean’s Super Bowl.

For many, Shark Week is an interactive holiday, when people hole up at home, watch sharks on TV, and then use social media to prove it. Luckily, some of this interactivity includes dressing up pets as sharks.

This year on Vine, pet owners have not failed to deliver pups and kittens and maybe a hedgehog in shark uniform. Bless you, Viners, for this dog swimming in the ocean in a shark suit:
