All three Planned Parenthood shooting victims were parents

Two more of the people killed in Friday’s attack on a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado have been identified by their families, the Denver Post and other local media reported on Sunday.

Ke’Arre Stewart, a 29-year-old Iraq War veteran and father of two, and Jennifer Markovsky, a 36-year-old mother of two, were killed alongside Garrett Swasey, a police officer who responded to a standoff at the Planned Parenthood center in Colorado Springs on Friday.

All three leave children behind.

Local station KKTV spoke to Stewart’s wife:

Stewart’s wife said he leaves behind his children whose lives will now never be the same.
She said all the family wants right now is justice for Stewart.

The Post spoke to Markovsky’s father, who lives in Hawaii:

“She was the most lovable person,” Ah-King told The Denver Post from his home in Hawaii. “So kind-hearted, just always there when I needed her.”
Ah-King said he found out about his daughter’s death from his other daughter who had been contacted by friends.
“I couldn’t believe it,” Ah-King said through sobs. “I just messaged her Thursday to say happy Thanksgiving.”

Alleged shooter Robert L. Dear is still in custody.
