Several black graduates who were trying to dance across their graduation stage were stopped and physically removed by school staff during a University of Florida commencement ceremony.


Shortly after video of the incident was posted online, University of Florida’s President Kent Fuchs issued an apology—but many students say it’s too little too late. Splinter spoke to one student, Oliver Telusma, about the experience.
