Cara Delevigne's new 'Paper Towns' clip shows off her eyebrow-raising acting skills

Latest

Supermodel Cara Delevingne may be known for boasting a strong eyebrow game, but in the newly released clip from her upcoming film Paper Towns, she proves she’s not just good at sporting wooly brows — she’s also adept at removing them.

As the clip shows, the notoriously cheeky Delevingne plays right to her strengths with this role, with her character, Margo Roth Spiegelman, sneaking into the home of purported scumbag, Chuck Parson, with Quentin (played by Nat Wolff) by her side. Margo dares Quentin to smear hair-removal ointment along the brow of this sleeping nemesis, the “scumbag” awakens, and Margo and Quentin take off running for their mid-class sedan getaway car. Ever the hellion, Margo gracefully skids her bum across the hood of the car and reassures a hyperventilating Quentin he’s a ninja — albeit an awkward one.

Paper Towns — the film adaptation of the YA novel of the same name by John Green — may seem like a far cry from Delevingne’s high fashion roots, but the supermodel is hardly entering into unchartered territory.

Joining a long list of models-turned-actresses, including Andie MacDowell, Mila Jovovich, Cameron Diaz, Jamie King, and now Kate Upton and Emily Ratajkowski, Cara may just be leaving behind that runway walk that spawned a theme song and taking those eyebrows of her to Tinseltown for good.
