Pictures really do tell a thousand words.

A Tumblr page entitled "Congrats, you have an all male panel" throws into stark relief just how guy-centric many of the panels at universities, think tanks, and companies are.

Launched a couple of months ago, the page has picked up steam this week, with people sending in submissions of panels featuring mostly middle-aged, Caucasian men.

Sure, not every event or forum looks like this. But, statistically, most do.

Women hold less than five percent of CEO positions at S&P 500 companies. Female lawmakers comprise less than 20 percent of Congress. And women remain severely underrepresented in leadership positions at think tanks and in tech companies.
