The third-place finisher in Boston’s mayoral election wasn’t even on the ballot.

Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz finished with 560 write-in votes, according to ABC News. That placed him well behind the winner, Marty Walsh, and the runner up, John R. Connolly. Still, that’s a big total for someone who was not even running.

He might not be the mayor, but Big Papi is number one in the hearts of Bostonians. Walsh or Connolly never gave a campaign speech like this (warning: NSFW language):
