Donald Trump is so unprepared to be president that President Obama is taking drastic action

President-elect Donald Trump has spent the past few days coming to grips with the realization that he’ll actually have to do a pretty important job and engage in the American political process.

During a recent meeting with President Obama, Trump is said to have been legitimately surprised at the sheer breadth of responsibilities tasked to the commander in chief. According to the Wall Street Journal, Obama himself was so concerned with Trump’s seeming lack of understanding about his new job that he has decided to spend extra time with Trump to coach him. His aides were also “described by [those familiar with their meeting] as unaware that the entire presidential staff working in the West Wing had to be replaced at the end of Mr. Obama’s term,” the Journal reported.

You have to feel sorry for Obama. His initial meeting with Trump looked bad enough. Now he has to tutor him.

It’s just another sign that Trump’s White House—just like his potentially terrifying cabinet—is set to put us all through some extremely bad times.  Strap in, kids. It’s going to be a long four years.
