Donald Trump Jr. Is Losing It Over Brett Kavanaugh

Supreme Court

As Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court nomination is thrown further into question due to allegations that he drunkenly assaulted California professor Christine Blasey Ford while the two were teenagers, the Trump administration has been surprisingly restrained on the controversy, issuing just two short statements affirming its support for Kavanaugh since Ford’s claims were made public.

But while President Donald Trump is being conspicuously quiet on the subject, his eldest son and namesake Don Jr. has taken a decidedly different path: He’s frickin’ losing it.

First, there was this unhinged “joke” Instagram—made after the details of Ford’s allegations became published.

Keep in mind that Donj is a 40-year-old father of five, and not (as far as we know) a teenaged Reddit troll. He is also, ostensibly, an independent businessman who has sworn not to get involved in his father’s administration.

Junior has also been on a real tear on Twitter, too, liking and retweeting all sorts of crackpost posts including this one from actor/ghoul James Woods, which compares Ford’s credible allegations of attempted rape to a “lynching.”

Of course, Donj going all in against credible allegations of sexual assault makes a certain amount of perverted sense—let’s not forget who he is and, more importantly, who he’s named after.
