Drop what you're doing: The second season of 'Serial' is finally here

Christmas has come early this year: Serial released its second-season premiere on Thursday morning.

The blockbuster smash podcast, a Peabody-winning spinoff of WBEZ's This American Life, was initially expected to return in November. In its absence, devoted fans have grown increasingly antsy with every passing day.


It's been speculated that host Sarah Koenig would investigate the strange story of former POW and accused deserter Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl in season two. Bergdahl is indeed the subject of the first episode, titled "Dustwun," a military acronym for "duty status – whereabouts unknown."

Well, what are you waiting for? You can find the new episode on the Serial website, as well as on Pandora.


It appears that Serial  broke the internet. The podcast's website has been intermittently unavailable since the episode debuted and some listeners are experiencing download errors.


So… close…
