El Chapo's rumored infatuation with telenovela star Kate del Castillo gets put to music in this new video

Mexican Norteño band Conjunto Amanecer thinks drug lord Chapo Guzmán is lovesick.

That’s according to their latest music video, which shows a starstruck version of the Sinaloa Cartel boss longing for Mexican actress Kate del Castillo.

The video narrates the kingpin’s rumored fixation with the telenovela star and El Chapo’s infamous meeting with Sean Penn, played by a dude that looks nothing like the Hollywood actor and whose name in the story is “Jean Fenn.”

“But with a kiss my mouth fell and then she left and I didn’t say anything,” goes the song titled Me Falto Decirle, which roughly translates to “I Missed Telling Her.”

The new song and music video comes out as the Mexican government reportedly evaluates Chapo’s extradition to the United States. The top narco was recently transferred to a prison near the Texas border sparking buzz that he may soon be turned over to Uncle Sam.
