Everyone's favorite girl/boy-next-door celebrity dating duo, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, stepped out of a restaurant in New York this past Tuesday to find the usual unattractive men with giant cameras waiting for them, yelling at them to smile.
But instead of just throwing on their sunglasses and hats and pretending not to notice, the couple each held up a cardboard sign in front of their face, advising tabloid readers to pay attention to matters more important than what Stonefield had for lunch.
Emma's sign read, "Good morning! We were eating and saw a group of guys with cameras outside. And so we thought, let's try this again. We don't need the attention, but these wonderful organizations do: —>"
Andrew's sign read,
(And don't forget:)
Here's to the stuff that matters. Have a great day!"
So anyway, it's always great to see when big celebrities really understand that with great power comes great responsibility (Spiderman joke!).
