Fall in love with this bouncy Chvrches cover of Justin Bieber's 'What do You Mean?'

Justin Bieber’s number one song “What Do You Mean?” has simple lyrics, but it’s very heavily produced. The sounds and beats give it an emotional depth the lyrics alone can’t provide.

That’s what makes it such a difficult song to cover. There’s an art to a good cover song, and it’s not an easy one to master. But as seen on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, Scottish electronic band Chvrches does a pretty good job of making this song their own while maintaining the elements that make it so unbelievably catchy; their version is a little more upbeat and a lot better for dancing.
