Former Megadeth drummer Nick Menza collapses, dies on stage

Former Megadeth drummer Nick Menza collapsed and died on stage in Los Angeles on Saturday night. He was 51.

Menza was performing at Baked Potato Jazz Club with his band OHM when he collapsed, according to TMZ.

The early reports indicate he had a massive heart attack, his manager said in a statement.

Menza was a member of Megadeth from 1989 to 1997, performing on some of the band’s most successful albums, including Rust in Peace and Youthanasia.
