The boycott follows a Twitter attack by Ingraham against Hogg on Wednesday. The Fox News host wrote, “David Hogg Rejected By Four Colleges To Which He Applied and whines about it. (Dinged by UCLA with a 4.1 GPA...totally predictable given acceptance rates.)”

Hogg immediately fired back with a list of top advertisers of Ingraham’s show.

More than 25 hours later, the Fox News host had a change of heart, undoubtedly prompted by the fleeing advertisers and memories of O’Reilly’s scandal a year earlier. However, Ingraham claimed the spirit of Christianity was behind her apology.

“On reflection, in the spirit of Holy Week, I apologize for any upset or hurt my tweet caused him or any of the brave victims of Parkland,” she tweeted, while also plugging a previous appearance by Hogg on her show:

Ingraham has a habit of attacking people in this manner and then attempting to get ratings out of it for her show. She tried to invite NBA star LeBron James on her show after she unwisely attacked him and fellow NBA athlete Kevin Durant over their criticism of Donald Trump and their outspoken support of social justice issues.

“Shut up and dribble,” Ingraham had said at the time. She added that James’ comments were “barely intelligible,” “ungrammatical,” and “ignorant.”

Ironically, Ingraham is now about to lose her job due to a 17–year–old who outsmarted her after she publicly mocked his intelligence.
