I can't stop listening to this Justin Bieber song

As of yesterday, Justin Bieber's "What Do You Mean?" is the number one song in the nation, and the first number one song of Bieber's career. This success is probably partly due to the mammoth promotional effort that went into the release of this song—and partly to Bieber crying on the VMA stage—but it's also just a really really good song.

As a present for his fans, yesterday Bieber released an acoustic version of "What Do You Mean?" with a cute little montage performance video. Though the video is shot in very high-quality black and white, it’s also a little shaky and seems to be filmed by a person sitting across from the couch where Bieber sings. It’s supposed to feel casual, and intimate, even though it's obviously not.

But it does bring a new layer to the track—stripped down, it's clear how good of a song it is, and how genuinely great Justin Bieber sounds.
