If Kanye's mom doesn't get into heaven, it's your fault (in his new video game)
LatestSure, Kanye West is eccentric, but this new video game idea takes it to a whole new level. For the past 6 months, Yeezy has been working on a video game in which the objective is get his dead mom into heaven.
Yes, really.
During his appearance on the radio show “Breakfast Club,” (the same show Amber Rose went on last week), Kanye detailed the specifics:I’m working on a video game for [my song] ‘Only One,’ and the idea is it’s my mother going through the gates of heaven. And you gotta bring her to the highest gates of heaven by holding her to the light. We’ve been working on it for like six months.
We don’t want to shame Ye’s grieving process, but we have so many questions. Do we play as a deceased Donda West? Or is it like Flappy Bird? Do we have to tap her into heaven? If we don’t get her into heaven, where does she go? This game sounds unsuitable for children.
It makes sense for Yeezus to create a video game — his wife, Kim Kardashian, has an addictive game app that made a whopping $43 million in the third quarter of last year alone. If nothing else, Kimye are a business couple. Still, can’t we play a game where we have to compete to obtain a coveted pair of his Yeezy Boost Adidas sneakers? Seems more light-hearted than dealing with the weight of his mother’s passing.
