Intentional or not, Ben Carson just subtweeted the hell out of Donald Trump

Latest

Despite having campaigned to be president, Dr. Ben Carson—ultra-conservative, brilliant neurosurgeon and, lest we forget, a man who campaigned to be president—is pretty sure that he doesn’t belong in politics after all. But, to hear his closest aide tell it, he’s pretty sure Donald Trump doesn’t either.

This moment of clarity comes after Carson reportedly backed away from having an official role in President-elect Donald Trump’s administration where he’d reportedly been rumored as a top choice to run the department of Health and Human Services—a position, he now allegedly believes, he is wholly unqualified to fill.

“Dr. Carson was never offered a specific position, but everything was open to him,” Carson’s business manager and personal confidant Armstrong Williams told The Hill on Tuesday.

“Dr. Carson feels he has no government experience, he’s never run a federal agency. The last thing he would want to do was take a position that could cripple the presidency.”

Let’s see… No government experience. Never run a federal agency. In a position to cripple the presidency.
