Paramount dropped the trailer for the new animated feature The Little Prince yesterday, and it's pulling on whatever heartstrings we have left. Le Petit Prince is the beloved French story of a little boy who befriends a fox on a wild adventure.
The trailer is visually stunning and features CGI for the story-framing — a little girl with an overbearing mother keen on rushing her into adulthood and stifling her creativity in hues of gray — and beautiful color in stop-motion animation for the scenes from the classic children's book.
The English-version voice talent includes Marion Cotillard, James Franco, Paul Rudd, Rachel McAdams, Jeff Bridges, and Benicio del Toro. This new trailer comes only days after the announcement that The Little Prince will premiere at Cannes.
