Powerball jackpot hits $900 MILLION and a nation flips out

OK, so you will almost certainly not win the lottery if you buy a ticket, but if you buy a ticket right now and you do wind up winning the lottery, you will win so much money.

That is because the Powerball jackpot has now soared to a record $900 million—and the next drawing is happening on Saturday night.

The Associated Press says that the jackpot started at $40 million, but people keep not winning. If nobody wins on Saturday, it could spike to a cool $1 billion.
