The Confederate battle flag flying outside of South Carolina's State House has been removed. Most of the people who showed up to Columbia's Capitol grounds to watch the removal on Friday were in support of the banner coming down. (Reuters reports that some even broke into "Na na na na, hey hey, goodbye!" during the process.) But we're told that there were some Confederate flag supporters in the crowd, too.
