Racist NYC Lawyer Aaron Schlossberg Finally Apologizes by Claiming 'I Am Not Racist'

Latest

In the most predictable conclusion to this story, Aaron Schlossberg—the racist Manhattan attorney who was caught on video screaming at restaurant employees for speaking Spanish and threatening to report them to immigration officials—issued a mealy-mouthed apology on Tuesday after his unhinged rant went viral nearly a week ago.

“While people should be able to express themselves freely, they should do so calmly and respectfully,” a statement from @ASchlossbergLaw on Twitter read. “What the video did not convey is the real me. I am not racist. One of the reasons I moved to New York is precisely because of the remarkable diversity offered in this wonderful city.”

To this apology I say: for sure, dude.

Schlossberg is so not racist that he was also recorded last May chanting “Fake Jews!” and “Milo!” alongside Trump supporters as part of a protest targeting Muslim activist Linda Sarsour, along with at least three other racist incidents unearthed by BuzzFeed over the last two years.

Small-time bullies like Schlossberg all use the same playbook: Say whatever you want to whomever you want—even threaten to have people deported for the crime of speaking a language you claim to be fluent in—and carry on like you will never suffer consequences for your actions, because in general, you haven’t. Then, when confronted by people who aren’t intimidated by you, 1) run away, 2) release an insincere apology, and 3) slither back into your hole.

Bye, you oleaginous motherfucker!!!
