Relive the sassiest moment from Obama’s speech

Latest

President Barack Obama had a cheeky off-the-cuff response for Republicans who cheered at his lame-duck status during Tuesday’s night State of the Union speech.

It’s a line Obama says often when trying to push his policy agenda: “I have no more campaigns to run.”

That triggered an immediate response from congressional Republicans in the audience, who cheered to sporadic laughter from the rest of the crowd.

Obama did not appear amused.

“I know, because I won both of them,” he said.

Mic. Dropped.

Analysts said after the speech that Obama was back in form, amid rising approval ratings and an improving economy.

“That was Barack Obama, back,” CNN analyst Van Jones said.
