Rihanna — fashion's most renowned wayfarer — traipsed off to Tokyo yesterday to attend Dior's Fall 2015-2016 collection.

The new face of the storied French fashion house and CFDA Fashion Icon used the opportunity to wear the hell out of a structured denim frock from the label's cruise collection and especially a pair of pointy-toed boots with iridescent detailing that laced up along the side. Her glaring red tresses were perfectly set in a stunning retro rag curl style, and a pair of shades concealed the actual shade she was most likely throwing everyone.

RiRi also took the opportunity to saddle up to — and, presumably, charm the hell out of — her newfound boss, Sydney Toledano, the Chief Executive of Dior.

And as is her way, the pop songstress spent the rest of her trip shopping and posting pictures of her exploits online.

Of course, she did so without co-opting a whole culture unlike her platinum blonde pop music proxies. So, as always, props to this queen.
