Rupert Murdoch is here to tell us what 'a real black President' looks like

Australian media mogul Rupert Murdoch decided last night to express his support for Ben Carson. Not only does he support his credentials to run for president, but he can also apparently vouch for Carson's blackness.

That's right—Rupert Murdoch, an 84-year-old white man, thought it was important that he tell the world that Ben Carson would be "a real black President." He tweeted an apology of sorts this morning, saying he finds both Ben Carson and Barack Obama "charming":

But this came about 12 hours later, only after his comment was re-tweeted more than 1,000 times and backlash that erupted.
