Samuel L. Jackson Does Slam Poetry on 'Boy Meets World'

Latest

Samuel L. Jackson took a break from shilling for Capital One last night to do slam poetry on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon about Boy Meets World, the much beloved 90s sitcom starring Ben Savage. It’ s really good. Like “this is more than just a gimmick but legitimate art” good.

Jackson waxes on philosophically about life, friendship, and love all while perfectly encapsulating seven seasons in just under four minutes, which is quite an amazing feat. It’s comparable to Woody Guthrie distilling the essence of John Steinbeck’s The Grapes of Wrath into one song.

It’s just so…
