Scott Pruitt Is Almost Maybe Getting Sort of Close to Possibly Being in Trouble

Trump Administration

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt is “inching forward to the tipping point” where his seemingly endless scandals will force him out of his job, a senior administration official told CNN on Wednesday.

“Inching”? You’ve got to be kidding me.

In a just world, Pruitt would have reached far, far, far beyond his tipping point already.

He faces dozens of controversies regarding his corrupt behavior, exorbitant spending habits, and use of aides for personal errands like finding hand lotion. He’s also repeatedly tried to use his influence to get his wife a job, including with Chick-fil-A. (She’s still unemployed, by the way).

Most brazenly, Pruitt recently asked Trump to give him Jeff Sessions’ job as Attorney General.

But apparently, all of this just adds up to “inching” towards a point where Pruitt might lose his job.

White House Deputy Press Secretary Hogan Gidley said Tuesday that Trump is looking into Pruitt’s “numerous reports,” whatever that means.

Update, 3:53 p.m.: LOL, well, that took a little less time than we thought.
