Serena Williams and Her Baby Bump are Absolutely Stunning on Latest Vanity Fair Cover

Latest

Serena Williams, a goddess somehow bound to Earth, is appearing on the cover of Vanity Fair’s August issue, and my god, she looks incredible. With her baby bump, belly chain around her hips and her hair blowing behind her, she gazes with such calm (or serene, if you will) strength, it’s just breathtaking. She looks natural, comfortable, and utterly powerful in the soon-to-be iconic Annie Leibovitz shot—which, of course, recalls that other iconic Annie Leibovitz Vanity Fair pregnancy cover with Demi Moore.

The cover story itself discusses how she and fiancé Alexis Ohanian, cofounder of Reddit, met and fell in love, and includes bits about how he proposed and how she won the damn Australian Open while pregnant.

It also came on the heels of Williams’ perfect response to John McEnroe, who decided for some reason to say she could never beat top male tennis stars at their game.

It continues to blow my mind that not only are we able to live in the same world at the same time as Serena Williams, the greatest athlete of all time, but also we get to witness her gestate a baby and put idiot men in their place.
