Shockingly, Trump’s Attack on Michael Moore Backfires Spectacularly

Latest

Donald Trump is a dolt.

On Saturday, Trump tried to distract people from the fact that special counsel Robert Mueller is about to arrest someone from the president’s inner circle. Like the bully that he is, Trump resorted to attacking someone. This time, it was Michael Moore.

It was a lopsided fight.

“While not at all presidential I must point out that the Sloppy Michael Moore Show on Broadway was a TOTAL BOMB and was forced to close. Sad!” Trump tweeted.

This happened shortly after the guy who helped get Trump elected, Roger Stone Jr., was banned from Twitter for being a bully and attacking CNN staff.

It’s also interesting to watch Trump tweeting about not being presidential and things coming to a premature end—you know, glass houses and all.

And then there is the issue that Moore’s Broadway show, The Terms of My Surrender, which began in July, was only slated to play for a limited engagement. It was already scheduled to end on Oct. 22, as Playbill points out.

And like him or not, Michael Moore is no intellectual lightweight. Responding to the president of the United States, Moore unleashed a scathing thread of tweets that sent the man–child president for some badly needed Twitter time–out:

Ouch…

So, where’s John Kelly, again? Oh, that’s right—he’s a bully, too.
