So, this is what hardcore 'Christian porn' looks like

We can count the number of times we’ve encountered the phrase “Christian porn” on one hand, with four fingers left over. For that we have adult filmmaker B. Skow to thank, whose In the Flesh is out on DVD today.

Alec Knight stars as Aman (which is, oddly, pronounced “a man”), a sex-positive messiah who’s returned to Earth after a 2,015-year absence. There’s one very important teaching that Jesus — uh, that is, Aman — has come back to convey: “Go fuck yourself.”

Yes, you read that right. As the opening titles — which scroll past the viewer in what may be the least expected homage to Gone With the Wind in cinema history — explain it, “[Aman] wants to get [people] to get over their shame of sex, to touch themselves and find the bliss within, to masturbate, to literally ‘go fuck themselves’ and leave their shame behind.” Huh! Okay, sure.

Let’s just say that humanity proves to be receptive. Very receptive.

Don’t count on catching a post-Mass screening of In the Flesh any time soon. Despite its progressive message, this “Christian” porn looks an awful lot like regular porn, although in this particular case the proverbial pizza delivery guy happens to have been dispatched from the heavens.
