Cool news! NYPD Chief Terence Monahan confirmed today that cops really are not making as many arrests after the firing of Daniel Pantaleo. “They are upset,” he said, per the New York Post. A police union also urged officers to “proceed with the utmost caution” taking calls after Pantaleo’s firing.
Gavin McInnes just loves the NYPD. “I have a lot of support in the NYPD and I very much appreciate that,” he said on his podcast on Sunday. Given the cops’ insanely deferential treatment of McInnes’ Proud Boys as they beat the hell out of counter-protesters over the weekend, he seems to be right.
