CNN is reporting that embattled Puerto Rico Gov. Ricardo Rosselló will resign today. That comes after a week of mass protests stemming from a report by the Center for Investigative Justice that revealed Rosselló and other leaders used homophobic language and joked about Hurricane Maria victims.
A huge group of protesters in Puerto Rico braved the rain today to continue their demand for the resignation of Gov. Ricardo Rosselló, even after he said this weekend that he wouldn’t run for re-election in the wake of a corruption and texting scandal. The mainland could stand to learn a thing or two.
