The Girl Scout Troop for Homeless Girls Is Expanding Across NYC

Troop 6000 was created in a Queens homeless shelter, and now it’s expanding to shelters across New York City. The new Girl Scouts initiative will serve at least 500 girls and is receiving a $1 million investment from the mayor’s office.
