You might remember when this year's Super Bowl commercials took a quick break from their extended meditation on dads, dogs, and dead kids for an inspiring ad from Always, which questioned our pejorative use of the phrase "like a girl." With this campaign, the feminine hygiene brand's stated goal is to help young women stay confident through puberty. (Another goal, presumably, is to sell a whole bunch of sanitary pads.)
In honor of International Women's Day on Sunday, Always has released a second commercial. The spot shows strong, confident young women from all around the world dribbling basketballs, rock-climbing, luging, and even working in a laboratory. It may make you tear up, like a grown woman.
