This week marked the passing of David Bowie and Alan Rickman, two of pop culture's most iconic figures in science fiction and fantasy. Between Bowie's epic space operas concept albums and Rickman's withering performance in Galaxy Quest, the two men had an immeasurable impact on modern fiction in ways that won't soon be forgotten.

As tribute to the two late actors, the creative team behind the Simpsons have slipped in a last-minute nod to Professor Snape and Bowie's song "All The Young Dudes." The clip's also a sendup of Doctor Who, Monty Python, and other prominent English artists.

“Love is more powerful than all my magic,” Snape says  as Alfred Hitchcock breakdances his out of a Tardis.
