The victims of the Paris attacks came from all over the world

Latest

Many of the victims of Friday’s attacks in Paris have now been identified.

At least 129 people were killed in the attacks. They came from all over the world: from Britain, from Chile, from Mexico, from America, from Spain, from Sweden, from Tunisia, from Algeria, from Romania, from countries still yet to be named, and, of course, from France.

Some of the victims were students, like 23-year-old Nohemi Gonzalez, who went to college in California and was an only child.

Some were musicians, like the 29-year-old Algerian violinist Kheireddine Sahbi.

Some were on holiday, like Aurélie de Peretti, who was on a weekend trip to Paris to see live music.

There are hundreds more people injured, so the death toll from the attacks could possibly climb even higher.
