These petty Joe Biden memes are the cathartic revenge fantasy you need right now

After the ridiculous dumpster-fire of the 2016 presidential campaign ended with a surprise win by Donald Trump, President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have acted with unimaginable poise. They’re taking the high road to ensure a peaceful transition of power. They’re holding it together knowing they have to work with Trump and the Republicans to salvage what they can of Obama’s progressive policies.

Everyone’s favorite uncle Joe Biden is too—and the internet is having none of it. Exhibit A: the video below of Obama’s first public comments after the election has been edited to suggest Biden made the sign of the cross as the president said, “We are now all rooting for his success in uniting and leading the country.” If you’re not familiar with the sign of the cross, Biden’s basically saying “pray for us.”

On Twitter, people are fantasizing about Biden playing pranks and making life a little uncomfortable for The Donald. Uncle Joe probably won’t actually be setting any booby traps for Trump. After all that’s happened since the president-elect announced his run for office though, it’s cathartic to think about, and the hilarious tweets with the VP and his BFF Obama are just what we need right now.
