It seems as if the news has been all doom and gloom for the past few days, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t reason to feel hopeful about our future.

Take, for instance, this fired up rallying cry delivered by an anonymous girl during an anti-Trump protest in Austin, TX on Wednesday. It hits all the right notes.

I am a female. I am mixed race. I am a child. And I cannot vote. But that will not stop me from getting heard. Love is love. And love Trumps hate.

Since being posted to Twitter, this barn burner of a speech has been shared thousands of times, and become one of the defining images of what post-Trump defiance can, and should look like.
