This picture of Katie Ledecky making Bryce Harper hold all her medals is the most glorious thing

If a picture is worth a thousand words, at least 900 of the words for the above image are some combination of “fuck” and “yes.”

At Wednesday night’s Washington Nationals vs. Baltimore Orioles game in DC, District native Katie Ledecky took the mound to throw out the opening pitch. Before winding up, however, Ledecky was kind enough to let Bryce Harper—the Nationals’ MVP award winning right fielder —play what is arguably the most important role of his career: Her medal-holder.

Arms outstretched, Harper accepted medal after gold medal while Ledecky prepared her pitch. Which, of course, she nailed.
