Tracking Zoe Kravitz's jam-packed Fashion Week weekend

Latest

New York Fashion Week provides an excellent opportunity to track style stars in their native habitat. Just a notch above “instastalking,” we’re clocking them from shows to after parties to after after parties. First up? Zoe Kravitz: Insurgent star, Alexander Wang muse, and flower child offspring of devastatingly attractive hippies Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet Momoa.

While her mother is a style icon to legions of Tumblr bloggers, having once famously played clotheshorse teen daughter Denise Huxtable on The Cosby Show, Zoe is a fashion-plate in her own right. Emitting that insouciant, bohemian flow her whole family is known for, the actress always looks stylishly rumpled (in a great way). Case in point? Her Friday night appearance at the Fendi flagship boutique Inauguration party. The sci-fi ingenue was serving major dystopian Mad Max vibes in a cut-out suede mini dress thrown over a patchwork fur — all Fendi — replete with a metagalactic frosty eye and lip.

She joined a slew of other celebs at the event, like Rihanna, who discussed fashion kitties with Karl Lagerfeld; earth goddess Erykah Badu, who was spinning on the 1s and 2s; and models Naomi Campbell and Jourdan Dunn.

The following night, while snow coated Valentine’s Day in the city, Zoe braved the storm to support her brother from another mother, designer Alexander Wang. Perched in the front row of his Fall 2015 show and refusing to take off her sunglasses (*arches eyebrow*), she sat alongside rapper Nicki Minaj, who completely ignored the arctic chill and donned a nocturnal smock from Wang’s Pre-Fall 2015 collection. Funnily enough, Zoe wore the same look a few weeks ago at Sundance (*arches eyebrow*), but no matter! It’s odd to think Zoe and Nicki had never met before, though, considering they are both rumored former flames of Drizzy “Wheelchair Jimmy” Drake.

Speaking of which, Zoe got a major shout out from the rapper in the liner notes of Drake’s record-breaking mitxape, “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late”, which he unleashed on the world at midnight on Friday. If you’ll recall, the twosome were photographed kind of making out last winter at Beyoncé’s concert and it seems like in true Drake fashion, the brother can’t let their dalliance go.

Nevertheless, Zoe also found herself a few seats over from the first family of fashion, the Kardashian-Wests. Seems no show would be complete without the highly studied threesome, or a shit spiral meltdown from Nori. The stylish tot, who was bedecked in custom Wang, attempted to wiggle out of her mama’s grasp, while Wang’s studded “health goth” fashunz stomped down the runway. Peep Kim just trying to keep it together.

After the show, Zoe took to the ‘gram to show her pride for her day one and headed to the designer’s legendary after-party that featured cage dancers, solo cups, and surprise performances from O.T. Genasis and YG. Because why not?

Somehow Zoe survived the evening and wound down her weekend by showing her girl, supermodel Cara Delevgine, some birthday love the next day. Are fashion BFF’s trending or what since that Karlie Kloss and Taylor Swift Vogue cover was unveiled Friday?!

Oof, girl aren’t you tiiiiired? We have another 4 days with this bonanza! Oh well: our thirsty butts will be tailing you regardless.
